Manuel has more than 10 years of architectural design experience and is a New York State registered architect.
In 2002, Manuel graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University at Buffalo (UB), School of Architecture and Planning. In addition, he received a master's degree in architecture from the same institution in 2006. He is currently an associate adjunct professor at Erie Community College and was previously an assistant adjunct professor at UB's School of Architecture and Planning.
Manuel joined HHL Architects in 2007. His diverse background and innate design skills have helped him achieve success on projects such as Canisius High School Math/Science and Field House, Olmsted@Kensington and Frederick Law Olmsted School.
He is an active member of the Buffalo community, currently serving as project committee chair on the Heart of the City board of directors. In addition, he has served on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Avenue Project. Manuel has also been involved in the Architecture and Education mentor program and the Architecture Construction & Engineering (ACE) mentoring program for high school students.
