HHL Architects was selected to provide architectural and structural design services for the restoration of the stone masonry facade and monumental entry stair of this National Register-listed building. Spalling stone face of selected areas of the facade have been examined, the causes understood, and the restoration contract documents are complete.
Construction budget is $1,500,000 and Phase I, the reconstruction of the monumental stair, building repointing, and restoration of the stone facade is just completing construction. An Environmental Protection Fund grant is providing funding for the project.
