City Honors High School was designed by architect Esenwein and Johnson. The original building consists of a ground, and first thru third floor plans. The 1912 structure is a National Register-listed building.
The new additions comprise a natatorium, gymnasium and science classrooms.
The design solution focuses its attention on the future of the school's science program.
