Gideon Putnam Hotel & Roosevelt Baths & Spa

Completed in 2009, HHL Architects designed renovations to the Gideon Putnam Hotel and Roosevelt Baths & Spa located in and contributing to the National Historic Landmark Saratoga Springs State Park, NY.

The project, for Delaware North Companies, included renovations to lobby, dining, bar lounge, gift shop and conversion of administration offices into a new fitness area of the hotel. Hotel room refurbishment and complete spa renovation were also completed in this first phase of work.

The Historic Roosevelt Baths & Spa opened in 1935 as a bathhouse - part of the Saratoga Spa complex, which includes the Gideon Putnam Resort. HHL's modernization of this historic spa facility has brought contemporary convenience and luxury to "taking the cure" of the mineral springs. The complete renovation of the Gideon Putnam Resort is a multi-phased project with ongoing architectural design services provided by HHL Architects.
