Albright-Knox Art Gallery

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery engaged HHL Architects to design the total renovation of its National Register-listed, 91,000 gross square foot complex of two buildings (the original designed in 1901 and an addition constructed in 1962). The Gallery is now recognized as a state-of-the-art facility for the exhibition and storage of its contemporary exceptional art collection within a precision climate controlled, constant environment.

The renovations corrected existing building envelope weaknesses including restoration of the marble and granite exterior and allowed the Gallery to enter the 21st Century designed to world class standards.
