Buffalo Museum of Science

Master Plan

A comprehensive study evaluated the museum's existing conditions quantitatively and qualitatively, resulting in a program for maximizing the present 1929 building and constructing a 62,000 s.f. addition.

The site, in a Frederick Law Olmsted designed park, is preserved by expanding over the adjacent depressed expressway and further, reconnecting severed neighborhoods.
